You can manage the portfolio and watch lists, research, trade stocks, ETFs, options and others from their mobile app. There are also news, videos, real-time quotes and advanced charting. You can also access your personalized Feed on Android and iPhone and it has new dollar-based investing with fractional shares to make investment easier.
You can view your balances and watch lists and get real-time quotes without the need to log in. You can access option chain enhancements, multi-leg option trading, trading of specific shares for stocks or ETFs, tax lots for your positions, limited margin trades in your IRA and extended hours of trading. You can get timely, customizable alerts through push notification or Message Center. You can also track the account positions and preferred securities. It also allow users to capture ideas about the current holdings or potential investments with Notebook.
However, despite having a lot of useful features, Fidelity is now facing a lot of errors and other problems. One very common among them is the Error 313112. People have come up with various problems related to the Error 313112. A user said that he or she recently opened an account and deposited funds through EFT. The account showed cash available for trading but suddenly started to show Error 313112. One user said that because of the Error 313112, his or her purchases have been blocked. A few people tried to make a limit order but have experienced the Error 313112 problem which says that they don’t have cash available for trading in their account. Others said that they deposited money in their account and cleared it by bringing tons of stocks. Still the next day, Error 313112 shows up saying that the funds need to be cleared at first. Overall, it can be said that this certain error doesn’t let users to trade in Fidelity.
Till now, there is no permanent solution to solve this issue but still you can try a few things –
- Quit and restart the app.
- Remove the app and install it again. This fixes a lot of errors.
- You might be using an old version of the app. Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store and check for updates. If there is any, update your app to the new version.
- Switch off your phone and restart it. This should solve the problem.
