Summon Materia in Final Fantasy VII Remake play an important role during tough fights. Their basic attacks are powerful and special attacks can knock the boss out. Two of the nine summon materia called the Carbuncle & Chocobo Chick can be purchased as special edition DLC or preordering the game. There is a bug here though. People cannot find the code to unlock and download the DLC files for these Summon Materia in the FF7 remake. It is a major disappointment and an angering issue because the fan base has paid for the DLC upfront and they cannot use it. This guide will help you solve the issue though.
Finding and Unlocking Carbuncle & Chocobo Chick
To find and unlock these summon materia, you first need to sign in to your store account from which you purchased the game. Then click on your profile name and select My Orders from the drop-down menu. Select the FF7 and find the item list where you will find something. Click the Unlock Activation Key option for the DLC code from the list and you will have your summons.
Also when you place the order and confirm the purchase, you get a mail. The mail contains a direct link to the order page and eliminates the hassle. You can directly activate the DLC through the link. If you used a guest account for the purchase, you will have to use this method.
Carbuncle is available for those who purchase the Delux Edition and Chocobo Chick for only those who have preordered the game.
