It doesn’t matter which mode you are playing in FIFA 23. If a crash happens, your match progress is lost. It’s one thing to wait for countless minutes to get a match, but getting kicked out of a match after finally finding one is even more annoying. And since you clicked on this article, you are likely facing the same issue while trying out the Pro Club mode in FIFA 23. Considering that EA is operating the franchise, you would not be surprised to know that it’s a widespread issue that has been plaguing players for quite some time. All that being said, let us see if the developers have graced us with a fix yet.
Yes, FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) is fun and all, but let’s face it, the sheer amount of microtransactions can put you off of that mode. What’s the point of having the skill when someone with more money than you to spend in the game comes up packing Mbappe, Messi, and the entire star-studded PSG squad? Yes, you can still squeeze out a win, but good luck stopping “La Pulga”. At such a time, you might turn your heads to the Pro Club mode. In this, you get to create your own avatar and then join a club to play a full-on 11v11 game. So, you will be able to control just your player on the pitch, with your teammates controlling the other players. It is a perfect simulation for more serious football fans. But, as we mentioned earlier, this mode has been riddled with bugs.
FIFA 23 Pro Clubs Matchmaking Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet
It’s disappointing and yet not surprising that there are still no fixes for the matchmaking issues in the Pro Clubs mode of FIFA 23. It’s disappointing because EA had actually acknowledged this issue before. You can click on this link to check that the community managers at EA did mention that the team is looking into the reports. It’s already been two weeks since they passed that statement, and still, we have no fixes. Well, to be fair, a recent patch was released that claimed to fix these matchmaking issues. While it did make things slightly better when it comes to matchmaking and loading times, from all the reports we got and our own personal time with the game, previous issues crop up every now and then, albeit with less frequency, and they have not been fully fixed.
If you encounter the matchmaking error, just restart the game, and that should do the trick. However, if you haven’t downloaded the recent patch yet, we highly recommend that you do it and then try this workaround. For now, it’s the only way. The ugly truth is that EA has all its focus on FUT since it’s the revenue-generating mode of FIFA 23. And since Pro Clubs Mode has no micro-transactions, EA may not want to invest time and money on something with little to no returns. All in all, FIFA fans have seen the downfall of the franchise with the release of each new title. With the deal between EA and FIFA now expired, it remains to be seen how the scenario unfolds for football games in the coming years. Anyway, that is all the information we have on this matter.
