Update: Similar to what we and the whole Farming Simulator community speculated, an upcoming game in the series has been revealed, and it is none other than Farming Simulator 25. Based on the official update, the game will be live on November 12, 2024, on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. And, just as we speculated already, the game won’t be coming to Xbox One and PS4.

Farming Simulator is one of the most popular franchises that has managed to stay relevant for more than a decade since the launch of its first game. Back in April 2008, Farm Simulator 2008 was released on Windows, following which many titles were introduced. Some were platform exclusives, while others were available across all major platforms. Now, most FS games are available across PC, PS, and Xbox, while a few are available only on mobile and the Nintendo Switch. Keeping aside the games that are available on the mobile and NS platforms, the last Farming Simulator game released for PC, PS, and Xbox was Farming Simulator 2022, which debuted in November 2021. Well, it has been more than 2 years since a new game in the series was released. And, with this year’s Farm Simulator Convention approaching, players have hope that a new FS game will be announced. Well, we too are hoping the same, since the developers gave the whole world a huge hint. Wondering what it is? If yes, consider reading until the end for more details.
The official X handle of Farming Simulator shared a unique teaser video featuring a couple of hex codes representing their respective colors. The first hex code was 2AC1ED, which represents the color used in the logo of Farm Simulator 2022. However, the next hex code, A0C213, didn’t fit right into any of the available game logos. This made various fans speculate that a new game is coming, and it surely looks like it. So, is that really the case?

Farming Simulator 25 Release Date for Xbox, PS5, PS4 & PC
Well, based on the teaser shared, it does seem possible that a new game in the Farming Simulator series, probably named Farming Simulator 25, is coming. Various fans of the series, including YouTuber The FarmSim Guy, shared their 2 cents on this matter, and they too think that a new game is going to be announced. But this is still speculation at this point since there is no confirmation regarding it. But to clear the air, Giants Software has featured a video titled The Future of Farming Simulator that’s scheduled to premiere on June 25, 2024 (around 6 hours later, at the time of writing this). If you didn’t notice, the date (June 25) might also be a hint to the fact that Farming Simulator 25 is going to be a reality.
Coming to the release date of the game, right now, there is no information available regarding it. But if we have to predict based on the release date patterns followed by previous titles, it is more likely that Farming Simulator 2025 will be released in Q4 of 2024, specifically in November. If there are no additional factors or delays, we should be getting FS 25 in November 2024 (considering that it is in fact a reality). Next, for platforms, we think FS 25 will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, while we are not quite sure whether it will be available on old-gen consoles, which include PS4 and Xbox One. Anyway, do note that the information provided here is based on speculations from our side and not any confirmed update so take it with a pinch of salt.
