Unlike most games, the save files of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time can get stored at different directories. So, we have mentioned them all. You will have to head over to every directory to check which one has the game saves.

To access the save files of the game, open File Explorer and then go to the C drive. Here, find and open the Users folder. Inside this folder, open the folder with your Windows username as its name. After this, find the AppData folder. If you are not able to find it, click on View>Show>Hidden Items. Now, the AppData folder should appear. Now, inside the AppData folder, there are multiple folders. And the game can save your progress in both the Local and LocalLow folders. That said, we have shared the directories inside both the folders for you to check:

  • AppData\LocalLow\LEVEL5 Inc_\FANTASY LIFE i\Users\fdffefd24451dc8b\Saved
  • AppData\\Local\Game\Saved

Check both these directories. You should be able to find a file titled “-gamedata.bin” inside them. This is the file where your in-game progress are stored.

Note: Another directory where you can find the game saves is as follows: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\48191671\2993780\remote\002DAE74-00-gamedata.bin”.

Now you can back up these files or manually copy-paste them to another system to transfer your in-game progress. We hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting DigiStatement for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
