Exoprimal No Audio/Sound Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet

Exoprimal No AudioSound Not Working Issue Is there any fix yet

As of writing this article, there is no official fix for it. We can hope that the developers will eventually fix it on their end, but for now, all we have are some potential workarounds that you can try. They have been successful for some players, so why not give them a try?

Restart Client (Steam)

The first workaround is the most obvious and also the one that is the go-to solution in case of any technical issues with a game. The steps are simple; all you have to do is close the Steam client completely and then remove any related processes via the Task Manager. Also, if you want to go the extra mile, you can restart your PC. Give it some time, and then reboot it. Launch the game and see if the issue still persists. If you bought the game via the Windows Store, do the same for it as well.

Disable Spatial Audio

In many PC games, Spatial Audio seems to mess up the in-game audio, causing it to crackle or get out of sync. In such a case, disabling the spatial audio feature might be the solution. If you don’t know how to do it. Well, it is simple; all you have to do is open Windows Settings from the Start menu. After that, select System, and then head to Sound. Open up Related Settings, then the Sound Control Panel, and right-click your primary audio device. Now, all you have to do is click on Properties and select the Spatial Sound tab. Finally, you’ll see the Spatial Sound Format section. Set it to Off, save the changes, and restart your PC. Now, if Windows 11 is the OS of your choice, just right-click on the speaker or headphones icon from the taskbar and head over to the Sounds settings. This will open up the Sound Control Panel, where you can select the audio device you are using and disable the Spatial Audio option.

Reinstall audio drivers

And another thing that worked for a lot of players was to reinstall their Audio Drivers. So, go to the Device Manager, select the Sound, video and game controllers option, and right-click on your primary audio device. After this, click on Uninstall device. Once the drivers are uninstalled, restart your PC. Now, launch the game and check whether the issue persists.

Stereo Mode

First, head over to the Windows Settings menu, and then navigate to the Sound Settings under the System tab. Once you’re there, look for the search bar, type in “Mono Audio,” and click on the first result that pops up. You should find a handy toggle for Mono Audio. If it’s currently turned on, make sure to switch it off. Keeping Mono Audio off is the way to go to steer clear of any audio-related glitches.

Change Audio format

Well, adjusting the sample rate for your audio device is a breeze! Just like when you disabled Spatial Audio, head to the Settings menu and find the Sound Control Panel. Now, right-click on your primary audio device and choose Properties. Look for the Advanced tab, where you’ll spot the “Default Format” option. Simply change it from 16-bit 48000 Hz to 24-bit 48000 Hz. Once you’ve done that, test out your in-game audio to see if the issue is resolved. If there’s still crackling, adjust the Default Format to another value and check which one works.

And there you have it. These are some workarounds you can try to solve the audio issues in Exoprimal. Just keep in mind that these are potential workarounds and, as such, are not guaranteed to work for everyone. Well, that is all the information we have on this matter.
