Being first announced back in 2017, Evil Genius 2 is finally hitting the market in 2021. The game is a sequel to the cult classic management simulator, Evil Genius released back in 2004. So, when is the game going to be released? Here’s everything you need to know.
Evil Genius 2- 2021
Evil Genius 2 features similar mechanics as its predecessor with real-time strategy and simulation aka “real-time mad scientist lair management strategic simulation” as described by its developer, Rebellion. The game was first released in 2004 and managed to gain decent reviews by giants including IGN and Gamespot.
The sequel, Evil genius 2 was scheduled to be launched in 2020 but due to unavoidable circumstances caused by the pandemic, the release date was pushed back. The official gameplay trailer was released back in June 2020 revealing certain aspects of the game and it definitely looked good. The ultimate objective is to build your lair on an island as one of the four available supervillains and take over the world by building, defending, and dominating.

The official release date trailer has been released which confirmed the game’s arrival on 30th March 2021, on Steam. The game is available as a wishlist item on Steam right now.

Evil Genius was priced somewhere near $10 back in 2004 and now, the sequel Evil Genius 2 is expected to be priced a little higher than its predecessor. But no official price of the game has been declared yet.
