Escape from Tarkov is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game in development by Battlestate Games for Windows. A closed alpha test of the game was first made available to select users on August 4, 2016, followed by a closed beta which has been running since July 2017. The game is yet to be released for the masses and we just can’t wait for more. The game is set in the fictional Norvinsk region, where a war is taking place between two private military companies called United Security “USEC” and the Battle Encounter Assault Regiment “BEAR”. Players join matches in which they fight other players for loot and aim to survive and escape; dying results in the loss of almost all items the player used and found during that game.
Tarkov Full Gameplay
The developers of Escape from Tarkov refer to the game as a realistic and hardcore first-person shooter, survival video game that borrows elements from massively multiplayer online games. When the game is fully developed we can expect the game to be even better than the current AAA titles. But In its current state, Escape from Tarkov incorporates several modes for the players to play: online PMC raids, Scav or short for “scavenger” raids, and a temporary offline mode as well. Still, according to beta testers, the game is yet to develop an engaging story and some maps are still incomplete and new maps are constantly being added.
Escape from Tarkov’s gameplay has been compared to military simulation games such as the ARMA series. Weapons can be built by the player by customizing all its constituent parts, such as selecting the dust cover, grip, stock and scope. This makes the game more complex and customizable. They can equip their character with military equipment including armoured vests, armoured rigs, and bulletproof helmets.
Tarkov Full release date
There are no clear signs as to when we will see the game in its full glory. The developers still keep eluding the fans and don’t give any concrete answers. We still think that the game will see a full release in late 2021 or early 2022.
