Endzone 2 Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go & Asus Rog Ally Support Details

This year has been a remarkable one for fans of building and simulation games, with the genre experiencing a surge in popularity thanks to a steady stream of new and exciting releases. If you’re a fan of crafting cities, managing resources, and guiding your virtual societies to success, you’re in for a treat—another title has just hit the scene. Endzone 2, the sequel to Endzone: A World Apart, takes you into a post-apocalyptic world where you are tasked to build and manage thriving colonies. Given the rise of handheld gaming devices like the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go, it’s only natural that players like you are curious about whether this game can be played on the go. Well, here we are with all the answers.

Keep in mind that Endzone 2 is still in Early Access, which means the game is actively being shaped and refined with player feedback. This is the perfect time for the developers to gather insights and make adjustments to deliver the most polished experience possible. There’s also a strong possibility that compatibility with handheld devices is already on their radar—or perhaps even in development. Who knows? The game might already be Steam Deck Verified or playable on other popular handhelds like the ASUS ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go. Without any further ado, let’s find out!

Steam Deck

As of now, Endzone 2 does not carry an official Steam Deck Verified or Playable badge, but as you might expect, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Diving deeper, we found a response from the developers addressing a player’s question about the game’s Deck compatibility. They mentioned that while Steam Deck support is not official at the moment, it’s something they have in mind post-full release. Despite the lack of official support, the dev also noted that some players have already been running the game on the Deck. However, we didn’t come across any substantial player reports or gameplay videos confirming the current playability status of the game on the device. Even so, there’s reason to be optimistic. The original Endzone was playable on the Deck, and given the system requirements of Endzone 2, it seems reasonable to expect similar performance. In addition to this, Steam Deck HQ even provided some performance insights, suggesting that the game is indeed playable on the Deck, albeit unofficially.

Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

The situation is quite similar for the ASUS ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go—there are no official player reports available to give you a complete picture of Endzone 2’s compatibility with these handhelds. However, given that the game can run on the Steam Deck, which is considerably less powerful than these two mini PCs, it’s safe to assume that Endzone 2 will perform even better on the Ally and Legion Go. The game’s system requirements are well within the capabilities of these devices. So, if you own either of these handhelds, you should be able to fire up Endzone 2 and start building your post-apocalyptic empire on the go!

All that remains to be seen is how Endzone 2 will be fully optimized for these handheld devices once the game exits Early Access. Well, that is all the info we have for now. We hope this was helpful.
