Amplitude Studios’ Endless Dungeon has finally arrived on October 19, 2023. Serving as the sequel to 2014’s Dungeon of the Endless, players will get to recruit a team of quirky characters and go against a never-ending horde of monsters. Like its predecessor, Endless Dungeon happens to be a tower defense title, but this time, it’s also a twin-stick shooter. So, expect much more active participation this time around. Now, as you might have expected, Endless Dungeon too has certain issues that need to be addressed immediately. A major one is the “unable to accept invite” issue.
This particular issue is exclusive to the game’s multiplayer mode. And as the name suggests, players can’t seem to accept invites at all, no matter how much they try. So, is there a fix? Continue reading to find out!
Endless Dungeon Unable to Accept Invite Issue: Is there any fix yet
Players will have to make do with the following workarounds for now, as Amplitude has yet to release an official fix. But the good thing is that the developers are aware of this issue, so expect a fix soon enough.
Restart –
Players can start with one of the most common workarounds of all: restarting. You can do it with the game first, and if it doesn’t help, then the PC or console itself. If the issue persists, try another method.
Validate files –
Issues such as these are a common sight when a game happens to have some of its files either missing or corrupted. The only fix to this is verifying files. So, to do that:
Steam
- Launch Steam and navigate to Library.
- Look out for Endless Dungeon, right-click on it, and select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.
Epic
- Open Epic Games Launcher and click on Library (located on the left-hand panel).
- Now, select the three dots beside the game’s name, and choose Manage > Verify. Don’t forget to restart your PC after validating files.
Update –
One of the best ways to deal with any kind of issue is to simply keep an app or a game updated. And if you are behind on updates for Endless Dungeon, we suggest you download them immediately and then only start the game. If the game is already updated, then all you can do is wait for an update to be released and then download it.
Whitelist game from Firewall/Antivirus program –
If the game’s access to the internet is blocked, then this issue will occur. So, ensure that your antivirus or firewall isn’t blocking the game. You can either add the game’s .exe file to the exception list of the antivirus/firewall program or disable it while playing the game to fix the issue.
Reinstall –
If nothing else is working, then we suggest you reinstall the game. But before that, save your progress first, and then uninstall or delete it from your PC or console. Next, put the game on a new download, and once it’s installed, launch it.
Well, we hope at least one of these workarounds was of help to you.
