After some time in early access, the full release of Ender Magnolia Bloom in the Mist is finally here! Since you are reading this, it is obvious that you know about the game and, in fact, are playing it. What is important while playing any game on a PC is to know where exactly the saved files are located. That said, in this guide, we will be doing just that. So, stick around till the end as we go over the save file location of Ender Magnolia Bloom in the Mist.

PC players know that knowing the save file location for Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist (or any game) is important when they have to back up their progress, transfer saves between devices, or recover lost data after a crash or corruption. It also allows modders and adventurous gamers to experiment with save edits or troubleshoot issues without losing hours of gameplay. That said, let’s discuss where the save files for this game are located on your system.

Here are the details on the save file location. The developers have a few things to share as well. Read about it all in detail below!

Save file location

To locate the save files for Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, follow these detailed steps:

  • Open File Explorer: Press Win + E on your keyboard to open File Explorer.
  • Navigate to the Local AppData Folder: Click on the address bar at the top of the File Explorer window. Type %LOCALAPPDATA% (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • Find the Ender Magnolia Save Folder: Look for a folder named EnderMagnolia. Open the folder, then navigate to Saved>SaveGames.
  • Locate Your Save Files: Inside the SaveGames folder, you will find your saved game files, including automatic backups created by the game.

Can’t see the folders?

If you can’t find the EnderMagnolia or the AppData folder, it may be because some folders are hidden on your system. To fix this, you will have to enable the option to view hidden files and folders. Here’s how:

  • Open File Explorer (Win + E).
  • Go to the “View” tab (Windows 10 & 11):
  • In Windows 11, click View> Show> Hidden items.
  • In Windows 10, click View and check the box for Hidden Items.

Developers Note

The developer’s tip on the official Steam technical support page suggests using the game’s automatic backup system to recover corrupted saved data. Since each save file follows the format GameSlot_{SlotID}.sav, and its backups are named GameSlot_{SlotID}_{BackUpID}.sav, players can restore a previous save by renaming a backup file to match the standard save file format. Before making any changes, it’s strongly recommended to back up the entire SaveGames folder to prevent accidental data loss.

Well, that is all we have to share about the save file location of Ender Magnolia Bloom in the Mist. We hope this was helpful.
