Elden Ring 60 fps performance mode

Whenever we play a game, we try and search for the best performance optimization settings. This is true for both PC and console users. Optimizing the video settings makes the game run more smoothly. This also holds true for the popular title, Elden Ring. The 2022-based action RPG title is a famous game among fans, and that means players always try to find the best settings for the game. Running Elden Ring in performance mode is a great choice if you enjoy the game. In fact, if you’re playing it on a console, you can use the 60 FPS performance mode to ensure that the game doesn’t feel choppy or slow. So, do you know how to get the 60 FPS performance mode in Elden Ring on your console? If not, keep reading this guide to find out!

Playing a game at 60 FPS is a good option. If you’re opting for lower frame rates, the game can feel a little slow and funny. It also depends on, of course, the device you’re on. If you’re on a high-end PC or the latest console, you can opt for high FPS. This, however, may not be the best call for old-gen consoles or older models of PCs. Keeping everything in mind, if you’re playing Elden Ring on a PS5 or Xbox, you can use the 60 FPS performance mode. But do you know how to do it? Let’s check out the process!

How to Get 60 FPS Performance Mode in Elden Ring on Consoles (Xbox & PS5)?

Elden Ring 60 fps performance mode

Getting the 60 FPS performance mode in Elden Ring isn’t actually that difficult. However, if you’re new to the game or if you’re new to consoles, you might not know how to activate this mode in the game. So, how exactly do we get this in the game?

What you first need to do to activate the 60 FPS performance mode in Elden Ring is press the Options button on your controller while in-game. Once this menu opens, scroll down and go to System. Now, first, you’d want to disable Ray Tracing in the game. So, go to Game Options and locate the Ray Tracing option. Then, toggle it off.

Once you’ve disabled Ray Tracing, you should go to Performance Settings and choose the Prioritize Frame Rate option. And the process ends here. Now, you have to navigate to the Quit Game tab and then hit Quit. This should help you return to the title menu. Once you’re on the title menu, you have to log into your game and continue playing. Press X and select Continue Game. Once you log into your old game, you’ll experience the game at 60 FPS. The game would feel a lot more smooth and responsive this time. However, there might also be a slight drop in the graphics quality. Although we assure you that it’s not that significant, the game would still be visually stunning.

So, that’s it. You can use this guide to enable the 60 FPS performance mode in the game whenever you need to. If you enjoyed reading this guide and want more such gaming content, keep visiting DigiStatement!
