Verify Game Files: Game files verification is the first step one should take after encountering issues like game freeze or crash. This can be done on both, the EA app and Steam. On the EA app, go to the game library, and select “EA Sports PGA Tour”. On the game’s page, look for the option, Manage and Repair and then Repair the game files. On Steam, go to the game library, right-click on the game, and select Properties. Under the Local Files tab, select “Verify Integrity of Game Files”. Verification of game files can take some time to get completed. After the scan is completed, check if the issue persists.
Clear App Cache: Clearing the app cache can also resolve this issue. To do that, go to the EA app and select options from the leftmost of EA App the screen. Select Help, click on App Recovery, and finally the Clear cache option. If you are facing this issue on Mac, then you can use the EA Origin Tool to clear the App Cache.
