Dungeons & Dragons brought their new title Dark Alliance this Tuesday (i.e. the 22nd of June.) Taking inspiration from the R.A. Salvatore novel The Legend of Drizzt, the popular game features characters we could recognise. We will get to see Drizzt Do’Urden, Catti-brie, Bruenor Battlehammer and, Wulfgar. These characters are available for selection. Now there’s another major update coming for Dungeons & Dragons (often called D&D) fans, and it is regarding a DLC.
The developing team has been getting feedback from many players when they conduct Q&A LIVESTREAMS, and Jeff Hattem, the creative director of Tuque Games, has acknowledged one of them. The creative director has acknowledged the fans’ request of getting a local co-op to the game. After looking at the number of requests, this is how he responded:
We heard the community loud and clear. Our number one priority will be supporting two-player split-screen couch co-op for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. We’re working to have this feature ready to coincide with the launch of our first free DLC this summer.
With this, the director also gave a spoiler, which has made the fans more excited. Now the game would be getting a free DLC. As part of this post-launch DLC, Jeff Hattem has confirmed the arrival of a local co-op, where the DLC would be free of cost for players.
Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance Couch Co-op Not Available Currently, Coming At A Later Date Under Free DLC
With this, fans are already excited about the launch of the DLC. This DLC package would stand as the first free DLC of this summer. This was a great move by Tuque Games, as they ensure live engagement of the audience by responding to their requests and suggestions. With a platform like this, more updates can be based on the recommendation from fellow gamers. We expect to see the free post-launch DLC come by July or the first week of August.
