Driveclub 2

“After playing a variety of racing games on the PS4, I have yet to find anything better than Drive club. I have never been so saddened by the closure of a studio. This game provided me with a platform on which I made many friends” said a former player of Driveclub,

Do you believe Sony will hand over the franchise to another studio and release a second game? Is the franchise over?

In this post, we’ll look at when Drive Club 2 will be released.

Driveclub

Driveclub is a racing game in which players compete in a variety of different racing events around the world. You can compete against players of other clubs, earning a reputation as one of the best clubs and leveling up to unlock better items.

Aside from normal racing, the game includes time trials, drifting, and championship tournaments that can take place in any of the six countries included in the game: Norway, Canada, Scotland, India, Japan, and Chile.

The game was created by Evolution Studios and released by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was published in October 2014, however, it immediately had significant internet problems.

Aside from this issue, the game was a great success, being one of the best-selling video games on the PlayStation 4 in July of 2015.

Is it possible that we’ll ever be able to play Driveclub 2?

The production of the Driveclub sequel is relatively limited due to the closure of the Evolution studios, however, it isn’t completely impossible.

Since Sony owns the IP and all the tech behind it. If Sony transfers the franchise to another studio, we may be able to play the second version of Driveclub, which will include new tracks and cars as well as 4K HDR support.

So, fingers crossed that we might get to see Driveclub 2 on PS4 and PS5 in the coming future.
