Dragon Ball Super Chapter 55 is just around the corner and fans can’t wait for more for the chapter.
In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 54, Gohan was up against the Seven three, a member of Moro’s Galactic Bandit Brigade who can copy the abilities of anyone by touching the back of their neck. Gohan was having a hard time defeating the Seven Three.
Dure to his ability to copy, Seven Three evenly matched Piccolo by copying his ability. Unlike Piccolo, he has infinite stamina which gave him a significant advantage in defeating him without the intervention of Gohan.
Seven Three Piccolo’s ability and turned into a giant to fight Gohan. However, Gohan overwhelmed the android with his powers. The android tried to copy Gohan’s abilities by stretching his arms, but Gohan was too quick
The android used. However, the latter proved to be too nimble that Seven-Three wasn’t able to catch him to copy his ability even when he stretched his arms. Then, Gohan used the android’s stretched arms to launch himself into the air and strike a Kamehameha on the android. But Seven Three used Moro’s ability to absorb the attack. In the end, Whis met with Grand Priest. During their conversation, Whis cleared that he and other angels are for maintaining neutrality by not siding with good nor with evil. But he mentioned the matter of Merus.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 55 will be likely to focus on Goku’s training with Meerus. It will be interesting to see whether he will be able to tap into Ultra Instinct or not. Moreover, a big part of the chapter will be focused on Meeru’s real identity. Many fans from the community were predicting that Meerus is also an angel. The latest post from @DbsHype also hints toward Meerus being an angel.

If we connect the above translation to Meerus, then it suggests that Meerus was once an angel, but because of committing some sort of crimes, he is having punishment as a galactic patrol.
