From being the one of founders and the innovators in the tech community, to just being another name in the crowd. The past decade and a half has not been really great for Motorola. First, being bought by Google and then getting sold to Lenovo, the company has lost it’s touch in the market. But their budget phones, still seem to sell pretty well. Moto threw another shot at being the company it once was and unveiled the Motorola One 5G Ace just last week in the U.S. Judging by design and specifications, it seems to be a rebranded Moto G 5G.
Talking about the specifications of the Motorola One 5G Ace, the phone comes equipped with the Snapdragon 750G processor. On the front is a 6.7″ FHD display with a 16MP punch hole camera. On the topic of camera, it has a square shaped triple camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary, 8MP wide angle and 2MP macro sensors. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone runs on the previous version of Android, Android 10 and has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Well, from what we can guess if the phones are the same, some improvements in the camera department could have been done. But, if you want to upgrade the quality of output from the triple camera sensor on the rear, Google Camera’s ported version has been released for the Motorola One 5G Ace. The GCam app for thr phone has brought features such as Portrait mode, HDR+, Google Translate and more to the midranger.
