Dota 2 Summit 13 will be supported by Valve

After the Dota 2 community raised its voice in protest against Valve, as it considered that it had left aside the competitive scene of this electronic sport. Valve has been signing alliances with some of the largest tournament organizers in the world so that this way, the competitive scene of this sport is not affected and does not have to wait until the return of the Dota Pro Circuit. Beyond the Summit studio has announced the next Dota Summit 13 tournament.
Today it has been confirmed through the official Beyond The Summit Twitter account, that there will be three new tournaments organized by this company with the full support of Valve. In this way, BTS announced the realization of Dota Summit 13. One of the most popular Dota 2 tournaments today. The thirteenth season of the competition will be held with the support of Valve in three regions – Europe and the CIS, North and South America, and Southeast Asia.

Dota Summit 13 Online, a Valve supported, THREE-DIVISION Online Dota event! ?

As we can read in the official statement. The tournament will take place in three regions:

  • Europe and CIS
  • America
  • BE

The total prize fund of the three championships will be $ 250 thousand. Matches will be held from October 21 to November 8 online. Other details, including the number of participants and the invited teams, were not disclosed.

Earlier, the Dota 2 developers together with Movistar Liga Pro Gaming announced two championships in Peru. Valve sponsored both competitions with a total prize pool of $ 45,000.

The previous Dota Summit series took place in March at the home of the Beyond the Summit studio. Six teams played for $150 thousand. In the final, Fnatic defeated OG Seed with a score of 3: 0.
