An Australian-themed role-playing game, Dinkum getting quite the popularity it deserves. It is a surprisingly fleshed-out game despite being in early access. It has various elements that make it different from other role-playing games. One of them is the option to choose one job instead of taking part in all jobs the game has to offer. That being said, farming is one of the most relaxing and rewarding jobs in the game. You can farm a variety of crops and animals in Dinkum. All of them have their own unique twist and yield different resources. There are additional enhancements to farming technology that can be made in Dinkum too. One of them is the trusted sprinkler. In this article, we are going to learn Dinkum: How to get Sprinkler.
The Sprinkler is a technological improvement that automatically waters all plants within its area of effect. This watering is done in the morning. The Sprinkler has an effective area of about 1 tile and can water any plants within that one tile. Because the Sprinklers will only water the plants once in the morning, you will need to water them manually if they need water more than once.
Dinkum: How to get Sprinkler?
Sprinklers are craftable in-game. You can craft Sprinklers in-game with certain resources. Once you have all these resources, you can craft and place the sprinkler on the farm. The resources required to craft a Sprinkler in-game are;
- 4 Old Springs
- 5 Copper Bars
- 4 Old Gears
- 4 Quartz Crystals
Once you have all these resources, you can craft 1 Sprinkler. If you want to craft multiple, you will need to multiply the number of resources with the number of crafts you need.
Unfortunately, this alone is not enough to get them working. Like real Sprinklers, these too need a water source. For this, you will need to construct a Water Tank near the Sprinklers. This is because the Water Tank will supply the Sprinklers with water. Because the Sprinklers need water, you will need resources to craft a Water Tank too. The resources needed to craft a Water Tank are;
- 8 Iron Bars
- 15 Hard Wood Planks
- 1 Old Contraption
- 8 Nails
- 15 Tin Sheets
With these resources, you can build a Water Tank that will also enable the Sprinklers to work effectively. With these two items, you can largely automate your entire agricultural process. Make sure to pay attention to the plants though since some may require more care and water than others. You can also sometimes get help from villagers to water the plants and make sure they are growing well.
