Dinkum: How to change dirt to grass?

Dinkum is a fun farming and life simulator. It is currently in Early Access on Steam and there is already a solid roadmap of development and updates that has been made available by the developer. This game is heavily inspired by Animal Crossing with similar art and camera angles. It is a farming game at its core and has been leaving a mark on the farming simulator game space recently. Dinkum is set in the Australian Outback and is a beautiful game to look at. The game has various elements to it such as mining and resource gathering. It specializes in farming and so it is no surprise that even dirt can be turned into grass in this game. In this article, we are going to be looking at Dinkum: How to change dirt to grass.

Dinkum: How to change dirt to grass?

If you are decorating your island in-game, you will likely have seen the patches of dirt on the ground. It takes away from the scenery of the rest of the island and can lead to your floor looking uneven. There is a way to solve this, however. In Dinkum, you can convert Dirt to Grass with patience and the right tools. If you want to have an even floor that is green all around, keep reading this article.

Dinkum: How to change dirt to grass?

Like with any farming simulator, seeds and planting exist in this game. You will need to seed, furrow, and take care of your crops and your soil for the plants to grow. Similarly, you can change dirt to grass using the same logic. In order to do this, you will need to use grass seeds. It is very simple to change dirt to grass in this game. Simply go to all the dirt blocks on your floor and place grass seeds on them. Once you have done this, you can water them and watch the grass grow from the seeds you planted in the dirt.

Getting these seeds is easy too. When you use your shovel to pick up a grassy dirt block, you will get dirt and grass seeds. This means you likely already have the necessary resources for terraforming the island and making it look better. This will finally lead to you having an even and level floor as opposed to the mess that dirt left. It will also make the island look much better than before since the floor has been sorted and there is green grass all around.
