Before you can start playing Diablo 4’s online multiplayer with your friends, you will first need to add them to your Friend list. You can do this rather easily. First, get your friend’s BattleTag, and then launch Diablo 4. Now, click on the Social icon on the top-right of the screen. Next, click on Add Friends and enter the BatteTag to send a friend request. Now, all you have to do is wait for your friend to accept the request.
Once this happens, just open your Friend List and click on your friend’s name. Now, click on either Invite to Party or the Invite to Clan option. You will be able to join your friend in a multiplayer co-op in Diablo 4 once your friend accepts the invitation. Now, you need to remember that this feature will only be available after you complete the prologue of the game. Console users have access to an exclusive Couch co-op mode as well.
