Destiny 2: Error code CHICKPEA
In the game, the error code CHICKPEA refers to when players disable crossplay while being in a Fireteam or during an activity with other fellow players, who have got the Crossplay feature enabled. This has been a frequent error code people have come across, and Bungie has officially responded to the same. In their Help Centre Website, Bungie has also shared how to re-enable Crossplay.
Follow the instructions carefully for your respective console.
Xbox Consoles: If you are playing on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S,
- Head to the General menu from Settings.
- From here, select Online Safety & Family.
- This would lead you to Privacy & Online Safety.
- Henceforth, from here, you will choose the option of Xbox Privacy.
- Now you will choose View Details and Customize.
- This would help you to reach the Communication and Multiplayer menu.
- Upon selecting this, grant permission to “You can join cross-platform play” by selecting Allow.
PlayStation Consoles: PS players would be getting an in-game settings menu of Destiny 2. From there, they can re-enable the crossplay.
