Destiny 2

The Destiny first-person shooter game series gets better with Destiny 2, the sequel. The game, which started off as a pay-to-play game initially came out for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Developers at Bungie later decided to make this a free-to-play online-only first-person shooter game. With this, the game has received quite some popularity. The developers have also expanded their market, rolling out versions for future generational consoles. In November 2020, Destiny 2 came out for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S. With this, people can get a high-level immersive gaming experience, as the graphics get better with 4k Ultra HD display.

But along with this, Destiny 2 has also got a crossplay feature. The crossplay feature uplifts their online-only multiplayer game mode. In the game, the Crossplay feature enabled players to join the same Fireteam from multiple platforms. So if you are playing from the PC, you can team up with a player who is playing from Stadia or perhaps from their PlayStation or Xbox. But many PC gamers have been asking about disabling the crossplay feature in the game. Does Bungie allow you to do that? Read this article where you can find out further details.

Destiny 2: Disable PC Crossplay

The crossplay feature of Bungie has received a huge reception amongst many players. With this, Bungie has got a specific page in their Help/Customer Care section, where the developers use the medium to answer many FAQs and doubts. Many PC users have asked about the option of disabling Crossplay.

Answering that, Bungie mentions that players using PlayStation consoles (both PS4 and PS5), and Xbox consoles (both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S) can exclusively disable crossplay. Players of these consoles can choose to opt-out of the crossplay gaming experience. In PlayStation consoles, Bungie provides an in-game menu, while for Xbox consoles, you need to head to the System Settings and disable it from there. Unfortunately, PC users cannot disable crossplay from their system.
