If you are wondering why Destiny 2 is not working for you. It is because Destiny 2 is currently under maintenance. The game has gone under maintenance for the release of update & hotfix 2.7.1.2. The official statement from Bungie read as follows :
Destiny 2 is being brought offline for expected maintenance.
This should conclude at 9 AM PST when Hotfix 2.7.1.2 will begin rolling out across all platforms and regions.
