Dead by Daylight (DBD) Cross Progression Release Date When it will be available

The officials at Behaviour Interactive Inc. are cooking something fresh! First, they announced the release date for Casting of the Frank Stone, a game based on the Dead by Daylight universe. For Dead by Daylight too, there is a brand new DLC that brings Lara Croft, yes, the main character from Tomb Raider, to the world of Dead by Daylight. Anyway, with all the new changes and DLC, have the developers given a thought to the cross-progression feature in DBD? In other words, is there a release date for the cross-platform progression feature in Dead by Daylight? Let’s find out.

Many players have been demanding support for cross-platform progression in DBD for a long time. If you happen to own the game on multiple platforms, with cross-platform progression, you get to keep your in-game progress, rewards, and purchases when switching between devices. That being said, keep reading till the end to find out more about cross-progression!

Dead by Daylight (DBD) Cross Progression Release Date: When it will be available

Dead by Daylight (DBD) Cross Progression Release Date When it will be available

The officials have posted detailed information on their website about the upcoming cross-progression support in Dead by Daylight. So, we have the release date and more details about how cross-progression will function. Here’s all the information:

Release Date

Cross-Progression for Dead by Daylight is set to go live on July 22, 2024. If the devs’ plans work as intended, and there are no hurdles, hopefully, we will see an update on July 22 bringing the cross-progression feature! Now with that settled, here is how the cross-progression system will work in DBD.

How to set it up?

Again, from what the devs had to say, here’s a brief guide on how to set cross-progression up in DBD!

  • Log into Your Behaviour Account: The first step is to have a Behaviour Account. If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to create an account. If you already have an account, simply log in using your existing credentials by clicking on this link.
  • Enable Cross-Progression: Once logged into your Behaviour Account, you’ll find an option to enable Cross-Progression within the settings. This setting allows the game to track and sync your progress across different platforms.
  • Select Your Platforms and Link Platform Accounts: After enabling cross-progression, you need to select the platforms you use to play Dead by Daylight. You will then have to link your accounts from these platforms to your Behaviour Account. This way, all your game data will be associated with a single Behaviour Account.
  • Sync Your Game Progress: With your platforms selected and accounts linked, the final step is to sync your game progress.

Additional Information

It’s important to note that some content might not be available on certain platforms due to specific restrictions or platform policies. For example, on the Nintendo Switch, you will not be able to share the in-game currency that you paid for or the DLCs you own. If you have further questions, here is a comprehensive FAQ available on the official Dead by Daylight website, which covers more specific questions and provides detailed answers to common concerns.

Well, that is all we have to share for now regarding the upcoming cross-progression feature support in Dead by Daylight. We hope this was insightful.
