Days Gone 2

Are you also waiting for the sequel of Days Gone? This article is going to clear all the doubts that are present in your mind regarding Days Gone 2. Keep reading to know more.

Days Gone was released in April 2019 for PlayStation 4. This game received a whole lot of mixed reviews. The game was praised for its B-movie charms and large open world. On the other hand, the game was criticized for glitches and design issues. After the release of Days Gone, it was expected that a sequel will be released to overcome the failures and shut the mouth of the critics. But, there is not a single sign that it is going to happen.

Days Gone 2: Is it coming out in 2021?

It would be wrong if I say that we are expecting Days Gone 2 soon. Sooner or later, the possibility of the release of Days Gone 2 is extremely Low. This can be stated by the recent news that the developer of Days Gone, Bend Studio, is currently working on a new open-world IP. Sony also confirmed in their latest blog post that Days Gone 2 is dead. Rather than Days Gone 2, Days Gone’s PC game has released recently on May 18, 2021. The game was a success in the week of its release on Steam receiving a 92% positive response.

As revealed by the writer and co-director of Days Gone, another reason for not expecting Days Gone 2 is that many players did not purchase Days Gone at the full price. Another report indicated that Days Gone’s developers pitched the idea of the sequel of Days Gone to Sony but it turned to be shut down.

So, to sum it up the release of sequel of Days Gone is nearly impossible. As we know that the pitch was made and denied (according to rumors), and its developers are working on another project.

We hope that you found this article helpful.
