As an introduction to the first-timers out there, Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat. The game is available for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, Stadia, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X/S.
The game has recently been the hot topic of discussion among the fans regarding the patch 1.2 update and unfortunately, it isn’t good news. The devs couldn’t adhere to their timeline for rolling out the update because of the recent cyber attack that took place on the studio’s IT infrastructure. The fans, on the other hand, although a little angry at having to wait longer than expected, are coming together to support the developers and offer their cooperation and encouragement.
