Critical Ops is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by Critical Force. It was released to Open Alpha in September 2015 for Google Play and had been in beta until the full version was released in November 2018.
Recently, the developers have announced a new beta update for Critical Ops. The new beta update with version 1.15.0 is now live on Android and iOS platforms. If you are interested, you can download the beta version of the app from the official website.
Talking about the new update, the new patch will bring some new features, while improving the in-game features. Critical Ops update 1.15.0 will bring the new Victory Screen. Victory Screen is nothing but the screen which appears after matchmaking completes. It shows stats like the number of kills for each player and their names too. It also showcases the MVP (or man of the match) with a batch over it.
A new inbox system has been added to the game, where you will be getting the latest news and official details from the creators. Other than this, several improvements have been down to the Weapon Swap feature.
More options have been added to the customs room host feature. Now, you can select not only the weapons to be used in the game but also the heath of Coalition and the Breach.
Last but not the least, drop the weapon and in-game settings menu icons have been updated in the new patch update.
Critical Ops Update 1.15 Patch Notes –
Victory Screen
- New Victory screen added to the post-match loop
Developer’s Comments:
The victory screen is a new part of the match end sequence.
We wanted to add some flavor to the match end and highlight the winning team for each match.
Also, player with the most kills is highlighted as the MVP (Most Valuable Player).
Inbox system
- Inbox system added
Developer’s Comments:
We felt that having a more direct line of communication with our players that is build right in the game was needed.
The Inbox system allows new opportunities in engaging with you (players) on a more personalized level.
Others
- Weapon quick swap improvements
- Custom room host options
- Updated drop weapon and in-game settings menu icons
Developer’s Comments:
Currently, quick-swap prioritized primary weapon if the player had one available. Now quickswap swaps between the previous weapon and the current weapon, for example between pistol → knife → pistol. The players can choose which option they prefer in the General settings menu with the Quickswap priority option.
Custom game options now have Max health options for Defuse, TDM and Gun Game. Custom game options now have Allowed weapons options for Defuse and TDM. Players can create actual “Sniper only” rooms or whatever they want to experiment with. In-game Drop weapon and Pause menu icons were changed for better clarity.
