Coral Island Resin: How To Get & Use

Coral Island Resin: How To Get & Use

Resin in Coral Island is an artisan product. In addition to that, it can be acquired in all seasons. So, it can be used to make various pieces of equipment. Also, since resin is a valuable item, you can sell them to make some quick bucks. However, considering how useful the product is, you should have a bunch of them in your inventory.

How to get Resin

Farming resin requires certain tools and experience. So, first, you have to reach at least Foraging Level 4. After this, you need to craft the Tap from the in-game crafting menu. However, crafting the Tap requires x50 Wood and x3 Bronze bars. Taps are used for collecting sap from the trees.

Now that you have crafted the Tap, start looking for Pine trees. Well, they can be easily found as well. So, once you have completed the prerequisites, you can start with the actual process. Now, you can interact with any Pine tree and place a Tap on it. These Pine Trees drop Resin, and the Tap collects it. However, it takes three in-game days before you can harvest the Resin. Hence, it’s better to plant Pine Trees on your farm, and then get resin from them.

How to use Resin?

Resin is a very useful resource in the game. Well, even money problems can be solved using resin. A piece of resin sells for 145 coins. So, compared to the efforts required to get resin, it gives a good profit in return. Also, the NPCs in the game happily accept Resin. Hence, you can improve relations by giving this odd gift to various NPCs. Anyway, the most important use of resin is to create equipment and construction. It can be used to acquire the Silo, the Ultimate Scarecrow, and the Gold and Osmium watering cans.
