Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is the popular turn-based strategy 4X video game. It is developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, and distributed by Take-Two Interactive. Civilization 6 back in 2016 on October 21.
Civilization 6 received the major update in September 2019 followed by minor updates in 2020. And today, the developers have announced a new update and a roadmap for this year starting with a new season pass. The new pass for Civilization 6 will be bringing new Leaders, new Civilizations, and new Game Modes.
The Frontier Pass features a total of 6 data packs. The first data pack will arrive in May, whereas, five other DLC packs will be available throughout this year, with the last data pack scheduled for March. With all data packs, New Frontier Pass will add eight new civilizations, nine leaders, and six game modes for $40.
Talking about the first update, it brings two new leaders, two new civilizations along with the Maya and Gran Colombia Pack topped with a new Apocalypse game mode. The pack includes leaders, buildings, and units from those new civilizations, and the all-new City-States, Resources, and Natural Wonders.
The second DLC will be available in July, and as the first DLC, it will bring new civilization, new leader, new game modes, and more along with the Euthopia Pack. Well, DLC pack 3, 4, and 5 will bring the same category of content but, the developers haven’t announced any details about these updates.
