The in-game earned XP is required to level up your character in Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 and progress further within the game, the most simple way to earn XP in the game is to obviously fix cars but there are other ways within the game, what we mean to say is that there are other things you can do while fixing up cars, even small contracts, to earn extra XP. Methods to earn XP faster in Car Mechanic Simulator
You will at times receive very simple tasks to complete which will give you barely any XP, and something we suggest you do every time to help increase the overall amount of XP earned is examining the car, we will explain how you can do this below.
- Go to your toolbox and you will need to purchase or select the following tools
- Compression Tester – 300cr
- Tire Tread Gauge – 150cr
- On-Board Diagnostic – 1500cr
- Fuel pressure meter – 300cr
- Electronic Multimeter – 150cr
- The tools are worth 2400 cr, which may be a lot but are definitely useful when farming XP.
- Once you get the tools, press the triangle button on your PS5 controller and select “Examination mode”
- Hold X to begin examining the parts, for each part examined you will receive one XP
- Once done examining, go back to normal mode by pressing the triangle button, open the hood of the car and select the engine
- Once you’ve selected the engine, press the triangle button and select “Additional tools”
- Now use every tool available to test the engine of the car, this will further help farm up some additional XP
Another method to earn more XP is by opening cases, you will receive these cases through your story mode contracts which don’t have a time limit, every time you complete one, you will receive a case.
Open your inventory through your scroll wheel, and look for the cases you own and tap the X button to open the case, you will receive the option of selecting any 2 cards from 5.
You can receive many things from these cards, such as credits, additional cases, and even XP.
