Gothita is a psychic-type pokemon that is from the Unova region, it was added to the Pokemon Go roster as part of the Psychic spectacular on March 27, 2020, it consists of two possible fast attacks and three charged attacks, the fast attacks consist of Confusion and Pound, whereas the charged attacks are Psybeam, Psychic, Psyshock. Shiny Pokemon’s are quite rare to find in Pokemon Go and they don’t have many competitive advantages, however, many players have wondered whether there is a shiny Gothita in Pokemon Go? Gothita evolves into Gothorita if been fed 25 candies and then it finally evolves into Gothitelle after 100 candies, you can catch a Gothita in the wild, through eggs, raid battles, research tasks, and Go, battle leagues. Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Go really has no advantage to them, the only difference between a normal Pokemon and a shiny version is the colorway, and a shiny Pokemon is extremely difficult to find. To find a shiny Pokemon is also quite random as it uses an in-game RNG which determines whether if the Pokemon spawned in the wild or in a raid battle is a shiny version or not. This RNG system is unique to each player hence if a shiny Pokemon spawns for one trainer in an area, there’s a good chance it won’t for others.
However, the question which arrives is where there is a shiny version of Gothita in Pokemon Go, and as of now there has been no version of the Gothita released other than the regular one, it may be released in the future updates or with an event.
However, there is no confirmation as of now that there will be a shiny Gothita being released into the Pokemon Go Roster now but we keep an eye out for updates as this is quite randomly announced by Niantic.
