Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game released on March 10, 2020, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is a part of the 2019 title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare but does not require the purchase of it. Warzone is developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software, and recently the developers revealed some details of what’s coming in Call of Duty Warzone.
Activision introduced the battle royale spin-off of Call of Duty Modern Warfare back in March. Warzone featured two modes for Battle Royale, Solos and Trios. But later IW decided to replace Trios with Quads mode with an update, which rolled out last month. Warzone community wasn’t happy with this decision and some of the players asked to bring back Trio mode. The developers worked on the feedback immediately and brought Trio back to Warzone.
Well, Infinity Ward and Raven Software in an interview with GamerGen.com commented on this issue and mentioned, “When you add Quads, people are like “Where are the Trios?” And then you go to Trios and they go “Where are the Quads?” Everyone wants to play the game in a slightly different way, which is really cool and exciting, so we’re trying to figure out what the standard modes are, and what are the modes that work better as sort of a short time, mixing it up kind of situation.”
The developers mentioned a lot more in the interview and revealed some details on the upcoming features in Call of Duty Warzone. Amos Hodge of Raven Software mentioned that Warzone will be getting Duos mode in the next update. Players will be getting one more option to join the battle in Verdansk.

Well, this statement pretty much confirms that Duos mode is coming to Warzone. Hodge didn’t mention any details on the release of the mode, but we are expecting the new mode to arrive with the Season 4 Battle Pass update. But, developers may release it before the season update, with a dedicated patch. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated on the same.
But before any new feature, players will be glad to have the in-game chat features fixed in both Warzone and Modern Warfare. For the last three days, players have been reporting issues with voice chat features and online matchmaking in both the titles. Still, the issues persist and fans are waiting for an update from Activision.
