In a Tweet last night, Raven Software claimed to want to modify various Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War weapons that the community lacks in Warzone. No date has been given for the update to be deployed. Ever since Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War weapons appeared on Warzone, the community has been asking developers to balance certain weapons, as they were literally overkill compared to other weapons available in the game. The problem was with the DMR 14, the Type 63, the Mac-10 and the akimbo from Black Ops Cold War.
Nerfed DMR and more on the update
Raven Software further claims that this patch will only be for Warzone and will remain unchanged for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. The main problem with these weapons is the TTK (time to kill) which is much shorter than other weapons available in the Battle Royale arsenal. As a result, the akimbo on the Diamatti, offered by the animated bundle with the purple tracer bullets, made Warzone completely unplayable. The weapons are well balanced among themselves on Black Ops Cold War, offering a certain “harmony”, while it tends to fish on Warzone.
Currently, no date for the update has been announced, but all players believe that the patch note could well be deployed on Thursday, when the Warzone playlist changes. The update of the playlist will change these different game modes on the Battle Royale:
- Added Looting Quads
- Added Mini Roayle Duo, Trio Resurgence on Rebirth Island
- Cash Withdrawal Dirty Trio
- Mini Royale Quads Rebirth Island Withdrawal
In addition, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will also have a small update to the playlist with the return of Crossroads 24/7, Raid 24/7 and others. Is there anything else that you want with the update?
