Following a COVID-19 hiatus, Boruto TV Anime is set to make a return on July 5th with episode 155 as announced by Tokyo TV. They also have confirmed the start of the new big arc and addition of Anime exclusive villains Deepa and Victor. Both these villains are a member of Kara. Episode 155 was supposed to air back in May but was put on hold due to the complications during Coronavirus Pandemic.
We also got the confirmation that the next arc will be the Kara arc. As the latest Weekly Shonen Jump also established that the Kara Actuation arc will start with episode 157. The episode is scheduled to air on July 19th.
Two New Characters for Boruto Return
There is not much known of the content of the Kara arc. This is partly because the Anime is choosing to inject new materials from the original manga version of events. We know the addition of two new characters as the sketches of both were released officially on twitter.
Deepa is voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara, he is said to be a ruthless killer. He is also an important member of Kara but his unhinged personality will be interesting to watch. Meanwhile, Victor is voiced by Chou. He is an elder ex-shinobi who runs a medical supply manufacturing company. This duo can be lethal as Victor provides Deepa the experience he lacks and Deepa can be his knife.
Here is a cool scan that DBHypeX posted on twitter.
Regardless of theories, we’ll be seeing how everything shakes out for ourselves. Boruto fandom is buzzing to see how the creators surprise us. Although personally I am excited to see Deepa, which part of the news are you excited about? Users can watch the upcoming episode on Crunchyroll platform.
