Motion blur in Atlas Fallen

If you are into RPG games, then 2023 must have been a great year for you. A number of phenomenal RPG titles came out this year, all of which were brilliantly designed and developed. On August 10, 2023, we had another fabulous RPG title, Atlas Fallen, come out. Developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment, Atlas Fallen is already a popular name among fans. However, whether or not this trend will continue depends on the features offered by the game. For example, fans who suffer from motion sickness are already looking forward to finding out how to disable motion blur in Atlas Fallen. This is an important feature in modern-day gaming, but is this feature available in this particular game? Continue reading this article to find out how to disable motion blur in Atlas Fallen.

The latest addition to the long list of RPG titles that came out in 2023, Atlas Fallen, has secured a positive impression among fans. In all fairness, Atlas Fallen isn’t really the most robust game that players can get their hands on. In fact, the developers have kept everything quite minimalistic, perhaps as a creative decision. However, with all these decisions, one question that comes to mind is if the game has integrated all the essential features for the players. Motion blur is an extremely crucial factor for players who want to enjoy video games but often suffer from motion sickness. Do the game developers consider this a problem, and have they offered a feature to toggle off the motion blur? Let’s find out!

How to Enable/Disable Motion Blur in Atlas Fallen?

Motion blur in Atlas Fallen

Before we discuss how to disable motion blur in the game, it’s imperative that we discuss its need. Consider a game that involves extremely captivating visuals and action sequences. In such games, motion blur adds an added layer of realism to the graphics. Whenever the in-game camera shows movement, the graphics on the screen are blurred in parts to depict how real-world motion feels. However, for people who suffer from motion sickness, this can be a problem. With motion blur enabled, they cannot play the game for a longer period of time as it can trigger several problems, including dizziness and fatigue. This is why few players look forward to disabling motion blur whenever they buy a new game. The scenario with Atlas Fallen is quite similar.

Now, speaking of this particular game, although the developers haven’t added a dedicated button to disable motion blur in Atlas Fallen, they have added a slider that players can use to change its intensity. You can access this option by clicking on “Settings” from the main game menu. Then, open the Display & Graphics option and scroll down. There, you’ll be able to locate the Motion Blur Intensity option. Drag the slider to the lowest setting to decrease/disable motion blur intensity.

Even apart from this motion blur setting, you can access a few other options in this window. For example, you’ll be able to adjust the FOV slider, Gamma Correction, Radial Blur, and more. You can try adjusting all these options to set the in-game graphics as per your convenience. So, this was all about how to enable/disable motion blur in Atlas Fallen. Hopefully, you find this article helpful in answering your query. If you enjoyed reading this article, keep visiting DigiStatement for more such gaming-related content.
