And, Radio voice chat lets you talk to your squadmates through a radio. Anything you say on the radio will also be heard by the people within proximity to you. That includes all the enemies as well, the same goes for proximity voice chat. Whatever you say in proximity voice chat can be heard by any enemies that are close to you.
Now, the first thing you need to know is how to turn the radio on or off, and the way to do that is to press LB or tap X. The radio should now pop up at the bottom of your screen. You can adjust it according to your choice. You can use X to turn it on and back off again. Now the best part about the frequency of the radio is that you can get super organized by putting different squads and leaders on different frequencies. Now, let’s talk about proximity voice chat. You can press LB and B together to turn on the Proximity chat. Once active you can continuously talk into your mic without having to press any buttons. The radios that the players have are coded so you don’t need to worry about the enemies listening in on your conversation. But, if somehow you’re able to recover a radio from the enemy you can very easily listen in to everything that the enemy squad is talking about.
If you can find the right frequency then stealing the opponent’s radio can pay off big and lead your team to a total victory. It’s like the equivalent of the people breaking the Nazi’s encrypted language. They just had to sign off each report with the same words, didn’t they?
