Studio Wildcard’s Ark: Survival Evolved has just received its latest update on June 2, 2023. This new update brings with it the much-awaited Rhyniognatha. The creature won over 65,000 votes in the Community Creature event held in February 2023. If you already didn’t know, Ark: Survival Evolved’s servers are being shut down by Studio Wildcard later this year, in August. The official servers of the game will no longer be live, as the studio is already hard at work on the sequel. A remaster of Ark: Survival Evolved called Ark: Survival Ascended is set to launch at the same time the official server and network of the original game go down. The Rhyniognatha is sort of a “gift” to the players of ASE who stuck with the game through the years.
The sequel to Ark: Survival Evolved has already been delayed to 2024, but at least Ark fans can enjoy the Unreal Engine 5 remaster soon enough. The introduction of Rhyniognatha means players will once again need to get ready to die in search of and tame this ferocious beast. Wouldn’t it be better if you could just spawn it in front of you and test how it is? At least that way, you can know whether you want to spend your precious time on the hunt for this magnificent creature. Well, you can do that exactly by spawning it using the spawn command. And so, here’s the spawn command and more details on the Rhyniognatha.
Ark: Survival Evolved Rhyniognatha spawn command & more details
To summon a Rhyniognatha, you need to open the Admin command console. To open the admin command console, press Tab (on PC), LB+RB+X+Y (on Xbox), and R1+L1+Square+Triangle (on PS). Now, type in the following command:
Cheat gmsummon “rhynio_character_bp_c” 150 or Cheat summon Rhynio_character_bp_c
This will summon a wild Rhyniognatha to your location. However, if you want a tamed Rhyniognatha, type in the following command:
Cheat sdf rhynio 1 69420
Savor this moment as Rhyniognatha marks the last new creature to be introduced in Ark: Survival Evolved. If you want to get the creature the “traditional” way, then go to “The Island” and “Lost Island” to find and tame this beast. For more details on this, click here.
The Rhyniognatha can fly and even swim underwater. It’s rideable, so it will make one amazing attack and carry creature. However, it will not be able to carry Exo-Mek, Carcharodontosaurus, Mek, Giganotosaurus, or Rock Elemental, etc.
Note that a domesticated Rhyniognatha cannot be used for reproduction. So, if you want to get a tamed one, you need to kill a Rhyniognatha first. Killing a wild male would be suitable for this. Once dead, the creature will drop “Rhyniognatha Pheromone”. Go ahead and transfer that pheromone to a dino’s inventory and feed it. Now, look for a female Rhyniognatha and engage in combat with it. Keep attacking the female Rhyniognatha until it is under 100 HP. The weakened female will then impregnate your dino (the one who ate the pheromone). Feed the impregnated dino. Eventually, when the Rhyniognatha matures, it will burst out of the body of the dino. Voila!! You now have yourself a tamed Rhyniognatha.
