Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) Unable to Click on any UI element issue: Is there any fix yet
For now, players will have to try the workarounds mentioned below, as we are yet to receive an official fix from Studio Wildcard. Try these potential workarounds, as these are your best shot at getting rid of the problem.
Change Resolution and Screen/Display mode –
Players who are running the game on a different resolution instead of native are highly recommended to switch back to native, or you can even have it on 1080p. Furthermore, if you happen to have set the display mode to windowed, change it to Fullscreen and then see if you are able to click on UI elements. Remember to switch to Fullscreen, not Windowed-Fullscreen.
Update the game –
Always keep your game updated if you don’t want to deal with issues like this. If you haven’t downloaded the latest available update, do so, and afterward, check if the issue persists.
Update graphics drivers –
When it comes to any kind of graphical issue, one thing you should always remember to do is get and install the most stable graphics driver out there. This will save you a lot of trouble and might possibly fix this issue.
Verify files –
You can also try the verifying game files method and see if it helps in getting rid of this bug. To do that, you just need to open Steam and click on Library. Next, right-click on the game itself and select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Wait until the process is over, and then restart your PC. After this, launch the game, and check if the issue persists.
Reinstall –
In case you don’t get any meaningful results by following the aforementioned workarounds, we suggest you do a fresh installation of ASA. We understand that’s asking a lot, but that’s the only fix left that has some resemblance to working out.
