Apple App Store, a distribution platform for applications for Apple’s iOS operating system is currently having an outage at many locations.

An outage reporting website, Down Detector also conveys that Apple Store is indeed going through some technical glitch at various locations.
Any official word on the matter? No, not yet. We’re not able to obtain a word from the official service channels or their social media handles.
