As one of the most popular battle royale games in the gaming community, Apex Legends has garnered a massive player base thanks to its fast-paced gameplay and unique character abilities. So, in this article, we will explore some effective methods to address and overcome this issue, ensuring players can fully immerse themselves in the thrilling battles that Apex Legends has to offer.

Numerous players in Apex Legends are currently facing an issue where, after accepting new privacy terms, they encounter a persistent prompt instructing them to “Complete orientation matches” irrespective of their chosen game mode. This challenge hinders players from successfully entering the game, even when opting for Trios as the default option. So, if you are struggling with the same, you must be wondering whether there is a way to fix this. Well, keep reading until the end to find out.

Well, many players are discussing the issue and sharing potential workarounds on various online forums. Here are some of the most effective ones:

Restart

A potential workaround involves restarting the game. Some players have reported success in resolving the problem by restarting the game. While simply reloading the main menu may not produce results, a full restart of the game has proven effective for some, allowing them to proceed past the obstacle and enjoy uninterrupted gameplay.

Switch Data Centers and Check Server Status

Instead of clicking “Continue” upon opening the game, click on “Data Center” in the bottom-left of the launch screen. Choose the new data center that is closest to your current location. Some players have reported that this adjustment successfully addresses the orientation matches problem so give it a shot. If this does not help, then perhaps the servers are out on maintenance. You can find information on server outages and other notices on server status by clicking here.

Internet and VPN

Checking your internet connection is a fundamental yet often overlooked troubleshooting step. So make sure that you have a stable and reliable internet connection by testing your network speed and restarting your router or modem. Try using a LAN cable or switching up your internet connection altogether. Other than that, if you using a VPN service, try disabling it before starting the game.

Training/Range and Party

Another workaround involves a specific sequence of actions. Start by attempting the training mode or hitting the range (if not already done) in-game, then close the game. Following this, join a party and subsequently leave the party. Players have reported that this series of steps resulted in them successfully bypassing the orientation match hurdle.

For Xbox Players

For Xbox players, a potential workaround is to navigate to “Manage game” and delete the “Reserved Space”. After this, sign back into Apex Legends. Well, some users have reported that this action resolved the problem for them.

Reset Game Settings

Another player suggested that resetting the game settings to default fixes the issue for good. So, you can try doing so and then check if the issue persists.

Update GPU drivers and the EA App

Some players found success by updating their GPU drivers. So, if you too haven’t checked your GPU drivers for updates, now is the time to do so. Head over to the official website of your graphics card’s manufacturer (Nvidia or AMD) and see if there are any updates available for the card you use. After that, check if the EA App has an update pending. After updating both your drivers and the EA App, launch the game and see if the issues persist.

With those workarounds, we hope that you were able to fix the issue and play any mode you want without any restrictions. Anyway, that is all for this guide.
