Apex Legends

EA recently confirmed that Apex Legends players experienced a big error during gameplay. This is not the first time that troubled players have complained about other errors and service issues. Not too long ago, players criticized that badges were not getting unlocked and stats did not record. Along with that, a player also complained about not getting their ranked badge as well. So, what is the complaint about this time? Why did Apex Legends Stats reset and players not get kill badges? Read on to know more.

Apex Legends released an official statement acknowledging that some PS4 players’ progress was lost during gameplay. Players would’ve hoped that this issue could be resolved. However, EA stated that the progress was unrecoverable. The tweet read:

PS4 players: Regarding issues with Apex Legends stats being reset, and players not getting kill badges etc:

EA says there were "some server issues last weekend, and some PS4 players progress has been lost, and appears to be unrecoverable." pic.twitter.com/tqob1tSsO3

Once players began to experience these issues, they used Twitter to express their annoyance. One such player tweeted about trying to hit 3k for a very long time until they experienced the error. This resulted in losing all current progress. Another player tweeted that the same issue happened to them too. Upon reaching 4k and finally hitting it on bloodhound, the glitch happened.

Fix for the Apex Legends Stats reset & not getting kill badges issue

Unfortunately as clearly stated by EA, the service issue is unrecoverable. The gaming company also added that the core issue has been addressed. However, hereon all progress must be properly tracked. Nonetheless, EA does not wish to assist players directly with this situation.

What is the latest update in Apex Legends?

In the past couple of weeks, a lot has gone down with Apex Legends. Three weeks ago, Apex Legends released the three new trailers including the ‘Emergence Gameplay’, ‘Meet Seer’ character, and ‘Emergence Battle Pass’.

Apex Legends Esports posted their first tweet about the ‘Apex Legends Global Series’. Later on, the official account for the esports section also tweeted about the preseason qualifier 1. The competitive event is available for players on PC, Xbox, and Playstation. The players who compete stand themselves a chance at winning $5,000,000. The event is dated to be between September 11-13, 2021. Registrations for the gaming event will open shortly.
