Apex Legends released an official statement acknowledging that some PS4 players’ progress was lost during gameplay. Players would’ve hoped that this issue could be resolved. However, EA stated that the progress was unrecoverable. The tweet read:

Once players began to experience these issues, they used Twitter to express their annoyance. One such player tweeted about trying to hit 3k for a very long time until they experienced the error. This resulted in losing all current progress. Another player tweeted that the same issue happened to them too. Upon reaching 4k and finally hitting it on bloodhound, the glitch happened.

Unfortunately as clearly stated by EA, the service issue is unrecoverable. The gaming company also added that the core issue has been addressed. However, hereon all progress must be properly tracked. Nonetheless, EA does not wish to assist players directly with this situation.
