Apex Legends Mobile is the newest release by the developers at EA for the mobile market. It is the newest Battle Royale to grace this market since the launch of CODM and BGMI in India. Since the developers are EA and they are known to be particular about their games, they have made it impossible for players that are not running the official versions of the game to play, causing them unwanted errors through various codes such as 561 and 291. In this article, we are going to be taking a look at Apex Legends Mobile Error Code 9999: How to fix it.

Apex Legends Mobile Error Code 9999: How to fix it

Since Apex Legends Mobile is now globally available, the developers are making sure that players install the official version of the game from the play store or the app store rather than keep using the old beta testing version. Players who don’t have the official version of the game are met with errors such as this one if they continue to use their Beta test apps without installing the official Google Play Store or App Store version of the game.

Apex Legends Mobile Error Code 9999: How to fix it?

This error usually signifies that there is an error in connecting to a cloud-based service, namely the EA account. Since most players will prefer to connect to local accounts which will then patch them through to EA, the game sometimes fails to understand this and recognizes the sign-in as invalid. In order to fix this, the player can follow the below steps;

  • Once faced with this error, return to the main screen of the game.
  • Click on the EA Account button to open a popup.
  • In this popup, log in to an existing EA account or create a new one based on your preference.
  • Once you log into or create a new EA account, close the game.
  • For good measure, clear the game from the recent tasks lists as well and relaunch.
  • The issue should be solved.

If after this method the game does not run and the same error is seen, it is advisable to uninstall the game and reinstall it after looking at the google or apple game center settings to make sure they have access to the game. If they do not have access, grant them access to the game and reinstall it. It should now run the game without any errors popping up. Now you know how to fix the Apex Legends Mobile Error Code 9999.
