Likewise, you can do this by heading into the in-game Settings, and selecting the Gameplay tab. Here, you will the Auto Sprint option. Simply turn it off. Then, head over to the Controller tab, and disable the Survival Slot Button option. Now, all you have to do is just press and hold the left D-pad button on your controller or press the N key on your keyboard. The action prompts your character to raise the weapon to the screen. This lets you inspect your weapon and see its details. After the inspection of your weapon, you can either wait for the animation to finish or utilize the weapon change input to switch to an alternate weapon.
