Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers various perks of completing a certain number of checkpoints in progression and one of them is the ability to terraform your island. It allows the players to design maps of their choice, and they took no time to recreate maps from popular games, like a Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening, and Pokémon. Now, a YouTuber Ciro Aversano has recreated Super Mario World Map in the game.

After a short reveal clip, Ciro invited Andrew from GameXplain to provide an in-depth tour. In another video, he takes Andrew through each area to explain the inspiration behind each design. He has added some great comparisons in the tour to provide a better aspect of the map.
Ciro revealed that he got inspired by the recreation of A Link to Past’s Hyrule.
