New Horizons has gained some critical acclaim and players love to enjoy the life simulation game on an island. There are a variety of things you can do on the island and finding out most of them takes up a huge chunk of time but there are veteran players who have explored a fair size of what the island has to offer. So worry not as new content is on the way, after the most recent update, there will be a bunny event.
In a presentation by Nintendo we see that a bunny called Zipper arrives on your island between April 1 to 12. The event will be much like an Easter Egg hunt, where you will be tasked to find hidden eggs. You can create egg themed items to spruce up your island’s look. The presentation also promised another update at the end of the month which will cover the content of the Earth Day event. The Earth Day event might be centred around greenery and planting, but we do not have a release date for the event yet. Looking at previous timelines and ingame event timelines, we can ascertain that the Earth Day event will probably start on April 22 but there might be some delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic which was stated in the presentation’s disclaimer.
During these trying times for every industry, games are finding it hard to keep up the development pace that they once had. The full impact of the virus is still not foreseeable but companies are working towards an efficient process that will help them keep the fans and games updated. The eggcellent update dropped today and will be available for download. The existence of such an escape mechanism in the form of a game is a huge relief for a lot of players all over the world.
