Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 update schedule revealed

Today, i.e., 21 September 2020, Realme launched its upcoming budget phones – The Narzo 20 series. In the launch event, we got an in-detail specification of the Narzo 20 series and Realme UI 2.0. Realme also announced the smartphones to get the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 update.

As of now the devices eligible to get this update are:

  • Realme X50 Pro
  • Realme X2 Pro
  • Realme 7 Pro
  • Realme 7
  • Realme 6 Pro
  • Realme Narzo 20 Pro
  • Realme Narzo 20
  • Realme X3
  • Realme X3 SuperZoom
  • Realme X2
  • Realme 6
  • Realme 6i
  • Realme Narzo 10
  • Realme Narzo 10A
  • Realme C12
  • Realme C15
  • Realme C3
  • Realme X
  • Realme XT
  • Realme 5 Pro
  • Realme 3 Pro
  • Realme Narzo 20A

The Chinese company has planned to start the rollout for Realme X50 Pro, Realme X2 Pro, Realme 7 Pro, Realme 7, Realme 6 Pro, Realme Narzo 20 Pro, Realme Narzo 20 from September 2020.

The next batch devices are Realme X3, Realme X3 SuperZoom, Realme X2, Realme 6, Realme 6i, Realme Narzo 10, Realme Narzo 10A, Realme C12, Realme C15, Realme C3. But these devices will not get update this year. The Company will roll out the update for these devices in the first quarter of 2021.

At last, the devices Realme X, Realme XT, Realme 5 Pro, Realme 3 Pro, Realme Narzo 20A will get the update in the second quarter of 2021.

Realme UI 2.0 Specifications:

The Company claims that Realme UI 2.0 is designed to meet the different requirements in three categories – Creativity, Sociability, and Productivity.

The new UI 2.0 allows you to customize it according to your creativity. It allows users to choose colors among the 5 color schemes and 10 single colors. The selected color will be applied in the main interface, notification bar, shortcut button, and 24 other interfaces. Other aspects of creativity are AOD theme and color patterns, Dark Mode, Icon Customizations, Smooth fonts, Third Party launcher, and various Android 11 features.

Coming to the Sociability part, we get an important feature Realme Share, which allows you to share files and contacts within two different devices. In addition to it, we get to see, Subtitle Stitching, Deep Sea Privacy which comes with an Invisible Door, Private Space, and Security Shield. So, you can share all your files without worrying about your privacy and data safety.

Last but not least, the Productivity part. Realme UI 2.0 gives you better performance due to a 45% increase in System Resources Utilization and increasing system speed by 32%. You also get a floating window which makes multitasking easier than ever. Other features include Digital Wellbeing, Sleep Capsule which helps you track your daily health and sleep cycle.
