If it is also appreciated by the community, it is mainly because this mod gives more roles to crewmates. Indeed, in addition to having 2 impostors in the game, there is also a sheriff, whose mission – in addition to unmasking them – is to kill the impostors.
Note, however, that mods are only available on PC since you will need to install additional game files, something that is not easily achievable on phones or consoles.
How to Install Sheriff Mod on Mobile & How to Play
If you are one of those players who are fed up with playing crewmate and are usually the first to die (understandably), the Sheriff mod should get you revenge once and for all.
The major difference, you will understand, is the presence of a sheriff among the 10 crewmates. This player must, like any innocent person, carry out his tasks. But his main mission remains to kill the impostors, or at least those he thinks are the killers, because he cannot distinguish them from the crewmates. The Sheriff has a kill button and can thus shoot any player. If he is ever wrong and kills an innocent person instead of an impostor, then he too dies.
It is not so easy to take on the role of sheriff because if ever you are wrong, two less people to kill for the impostors! Suffice to say that the games can take place very quickly, or even take drastic turns in cases where there is only a group of 4 people made up of an impostor, a sheriff and two crewmates.
