All Elite Wrestling aka AEW is setting up new heights in the Wrestling World. Although WWE, its direct competitor is still a long shot to beat, AEW is up for the challenge it seems. A new AEW game is coming believe it or not and that too in the upcoming year. Here’s everything you need to know
AEW Game- 2021-22
AEW has been waiting for a long time to release their new game and what can be a better time than now when the massive franchise WWE’s WWE 2K20 failed miserably and the future release of WWE 2K21 has been canceled as well. Taking this as a golden opportunity, AEW has released an official teaser in their live stream. The teaser can be found here-
Featuring famous WWE superstar Chris Jericho and many more including Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose, AEW is set to take the Wrestling game fans with a storm. The game also allows inter-gender matches. However, the only point to be worried about is the quality of the gameplay.
When it comes to iconic moves and animation, WWE 2K is on another level. So, it will be hard for AEW to replicate such fluidity in their game. However, when 2K decided to release Yukes(WWE 2K series publishers), Yukes partnered with AEW to develop and published this new upcoming game. It will be interesting to see how they are going to represent the Wrestling superstars in their new game.
New AEW Game- Release Date
No official release date has been announced yet, but the teaser suggested that the game is still in early development. So, maybe it will be released in late 2021 or early 2022.
New AEW Game- Supported Platforms
The new AEW game will be made available on the next-gen consoles- PS5 and Xbox Series X|S including a mobile version of the game. According to official announcements, one console game, and two mobile games are set to release in the upcoming year.
If the game turns out as promised, Wrestling fans will be having a great time in the upcoming year. But 2K is going to suffer if they don’t come up with something new.
