Good news!!!, the ladybugs are out!!! and they look super COOL. If you’re new to Adoptme! and are yet to be acquainted with the gravity and impact of this inclusion, read on…
As a small preamble for the game, Adoptme! was released on July 14, 2017 as an MMORPG for Windows, macOS, iOS and android. The game was averaging 600,000 concurrent players as of June 2020, making it the most popular game on Roblox.
The premise of the game and actions that players can perform revolves around adopting and caring for pets. These pets are further classified into 5 classes weighed by their rarity, they are, common, uncommon, rare, ultra-rare and legendary. The experience doesn’t end there, these pets can evolve too, and once a player has 4 fully grown pets belonging to the same category, they can be combined to form a Neon pet. As an extension, 4 fully grown neon pets can be combined to form a Mega neon pet. Robux is used to facilitate in-game transactions and “Bucks” are obtained upon satisfying the pet’s needs.
Recent developments in the game include the launch of the farm shop event on February 18 at 8pm (pacific time). This update brings with it a lot of changes which include map changes, changes in the interior design of pet-houses and the much anticipated inclusion of new pets. One such inclusion is making the rounds on the internet, it’s a trio of pets and they all share a really cool name, “Lady bug”.
There are three different versions of these ladybugs, the ultra-rare “Ladybug”, the legendary “Golden ladybug” and The legendary “Diamond lady bug”. The price of each of these pets is a Diamond lavender (for context, a Diamond Lavender is a single-use item in Adopt Me! that can be found in the Food section of a player’s inventory and can be used to tame various kinds of Ladybugs) and a diamond lavender costs 199 robux. The process is as follows, Upon throwing a pot of Diamond Lavender, players can either tame an Ultra-Rare Ladybug, a Legendary Golden Ladybug, or a Legendary Diamond Ladybug.
The sheer rarity of these pets and the possibility of the neons and mega neons that can come through a fully grown lady bug has garnered server wide attention. The way in which this inclusion creates a more dynamic gameplay is yet to be seen, but one thing is for sure, the ladybug is here to stay. Unlike other pets in the game, the ladybugs have certain characteristics that catapult them towards another league of belonging. Firstly, they look super cute and secondly they are rare, even with an unnatural supply of around 40 diamond lavenders, finding and catching a ladybug is an affair that exhausts your luck. While it is fairly possible to obtain a normal ladybug, with a 35 out of 40 chance of getting one,The chance stats for a golden ladybug and diamond lady bug are 10 out of 40 and 1 out of 40 respectively. Use your lavenders carefully.
